Mr Faris Abubakar CP is the Corporate Development Officer and is a vital part of the Management Team of AASA providing Strategic Guidance and improving the bottom-line by transforming AASA into a professionally run entity.

His 15 years of experience in different industries with different roles has helped him drive Innovation, adopt Best Practices and Introduce Technologies into AASA from a legacy style of work functions practiced in the Infrastructure and Construction industry. He drives the Internal Audit process in the company with focus on improving Corporate Governance. His belief and guidance in improving Management Information System has played a vital role in driving decision making based on Information. He is also a part of Risk Mitigation Plan of AASA.

Before joining AASA he was working in a global technology consultancy firm providing consultancy services to Fortune 500 clients from varied business sectors. He is a co-founder of a technology consultancy firm and was instrumental in driving the company to a profitable and exponential growth trajectory. Faris is an advisor to few start-ups in India. He also has his own investments in the Medical Healthcare Sector and a Professional Sports Club in India.

He has done his Bachelors in Engineering with a Master's in Business Administration, he is also a Microsoft Certified Professional.



Saleem leads the company's accounting, business support, financial planning & management, budgetary controls, compliance and treasury functions as CFO of the company.

He has a combined working experience of over 20 years in reputed organization in managing & leading finance functions covering financial management, strategic planning, budgetary controls and compliance, consultancy & audit. Saleem has extensive exposure in wide range of industries including manufacturing & contracting, service providers and management consulting in the UAE.

Before joining AASA, Saleem was Finance Director of Advanced Industries Group (a subsidiary of Emaar Industries and Investments PJSC), a market leader in specialized turnkey interior fit out and architectural metal work manufacturing and contracting company. Prior to that, he was Finance & Administration Manager with Emirates Building System (a subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC) specialized in engineering and manufacturing of pre-engineered building systems in infrastructural developments. His earlier engagement includes heading the Finance & Administration function for a company in Al Ghurair Group specialized in engineering and assembly of Aluminium and Glass facade in high rise construction activities.

He began his career in UAE with Grant Thornton, a UK based leading firm of Public Accountants providing assurance & advisory services to growth oriented, entrepreneurial companies based in UAE.

Saleem holds a Degree in Accounting and Law and is a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant from India.



Mr. Ibrahim Kutty, is one among the strong leaders who took part in growing AASA Group to the forefront of leading contracting companies in this region. Having maintained strapping relations with AASA since its formation in 1993, he officially joined the firm in 2008 as Administration Manager and has since been dedicatedly giving his best services.

Coming from a technical background Mr. Ibrahim brought with him an extensive experience of 17 years from Gulf Company For International Industries, a sister concern of Dubai Trading.

However, his prowess never got limited to a particular department in AASA. He has built a solid professional track record by extending his expertise in all realms of operations. Trusting his understanding and experience of the local and regional business dynamics, Mr. Ibrahim oversees, supervises and monitors a wide range of functions from recruitment, procurement, asset management, facilities management, licensing, insurance, legal and all related administrative and operational activities.

The major milestones that were achieved by AASA during his journey are the affiliation with EMAAR Industries & Investments (PVT) JSC, formation of CP Holding Company (shareholder's family investment company) and entry to the DEWA contracting works. Mr. Ebrahim played an imperative role in the development and achievements of the company as the employee strength increased from 600 to 5000.

A few of the projects that excelled under his administrative experience includes Abu Dhabi Military GHQ projects, construction of the Maktoum Airport Airshow Facility, the Mall Of Emirates expansion project, the Apple showroom in Dubai Mall, Burj Khajifa Armani Hotel Balcony expansion , Ain Dubai civil foundation and terminal building . He brings with him more than a decade of administrative and HR experience in AASA and is fondly referred to as 'AASA Ibrahim' among clientele and social circle.

As a senior most employee of AASA, he is often considered as the 'Handbook' for company related matters, policies and procedures.



Arafath Ansari is responsible for handling Sales, Business Development, Key account Management and collection functions of the group.

Prior to joining AASA, Arafath was associated as Key Accounts Manager with Indus Towers Limited, The Second Largest Mobile Tower company in the world and a JV of Airtel, Idea and Vodafone. He was primarily responsible for Sales, Marketing and client relationship management in this capacity. He was also responsible for the newly launched business segment of IBS (In Building Solutions) and Co-ordination with Various Government authorities, Utilities, Public sector enterprises and Private developers for increasing the footprint of IBS installed facilities.

Arafath brings with him over 14 years of experience and started his professional career with Philips Electronics India Ltd (Indian unit of MNC Royal Philips) and was also associated with TATA Telecommunications. In both these roles, he was responsible for Sales and Marketing, Brand Building, Product Launch and Product life cycle management. He was part of the Launch Team which successfully launched Brand TATA DOCOMO in South India.

Arafath is a Post Graduate in Management from Amrita Deemed University, India, and an Alumni of Kerala Agricultural University, India.



Johnson Anto is responsible for the Commercial functions in AASA with key focus on Estimation, Cost Control, Invoicing and Procurement. In his role as Commercial Manager, he is responsible to strategically review and improve processes & reporting standards for developing successful operational project life cycle and routine cost control functions. Anto is also functioning as a Core support for various investments of the Group.

Prior to joining AASA, Johnson was working as Corporate Planning Manager for Zubair Auto Group of Oman who were holding major Auto Dealerships. As Planning Manager, he was responsible for formulation and monitoring of Budgets, KPIs, Process flows, Compliances, Report Reviews, Project evaluation etc. Earlier, Johnson also had worked as Senior Finance Manager for M/S Muscat Golf Course Project who were in Real Estates, Hotels and Leisure Activities.

Johnson brings with him three decades of experience in Planning & Finance Functions of Automotive, Real Estate, Contracting, and Trading businesses. He holds MBA in Financial Management and Masters in Commerce from Premium Indian Institutes.



Ashley Mehaboobe is heading the Contracts department at AASA Group since 2012. Her primary function is to lead and liaison the team of interdisciplinary professionals who are to screen through the terms and conditional viability of the project proposals coming at hand. She works closely with the execution and various stake holding department workforce in order to generate reports that would guide the organization in taking negotiable policy decisions that are mutually winning to the client and company.

Though an electrical engineering graduate by qualification, AASA paved her with opportunities to discover skills in conciliation and eventually set up the contracts department. Ashley's long term association with AASA was substantial while footing into challenging and scaled up projects. And her endeavors were beneficial in bringing goodwill to the company over the negotiation table. Her attention to accuracy and acumen to understand the legal and financial implications in tandem are instrumental in crafting strategic framework at AASA. Ashley has also enhanced her area of interests through continuous training. She is CPCM certified and keeps herself well updated with FIDIC regulations.

Ashley also plays a critical role in management by acting as an advisor to Chairman & Managing Director.
