Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage all civil construction activities for substation projects
- Supervise construction of foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, and structural works
- Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and monthly construction plans
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards
- Coordinate with electrical teams for interface and installation readiness
- Manage subcontractors, site engineers, foremen, and workforce productivity
- Monitor site progress, manpower allocation, and material utilization
- Ensure quality control, inspection readiness, and consultant approvals
- Review and implement method statements, shop drawings, and construction methodologies
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and site safety regulations
- Resolve technical site issues and ensure smooth execution workflow
- Coordinate with procurement and planning teams for material and resource availability
- Prepare site progress reports and support project management reporting
Basic Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in civil construction projects
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in substation projects mandatory
- UAE / GCC experience preferred
