Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce HSE policies in compliance with UAE regulations and company standards
- Conduct Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and hazard identification for all site activities
- Carry out site inspections, audits, and safety walks; ensure timely closure of non-compliances
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; perform Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs to promote safety culture
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems, RAMS, and PPE requirements
- Monitor contractor and workforce compliance with HSE procedures and safety standards
- Support emergency preparedness plans, drills, and ensure readiness of response systems
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and KPI tracking; submit regular safety performance reports
- Ensure environmental compliance including waste management and ISO 14001 requirements
- Support ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 implementation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with site management and project teams to ensure safe execution of all construction activities
- Promote proactive safety culture and ensure zero-incident mindset across all project operations
Basic Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Science
- NEBOSH IGC certification mandatory preferred
- Minimum 4–7 years’ experience in HSE roles in construction/infrastructure projects
- Minimum 3+ years UAE experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and ISO standards
